Thomas Hampson reunites with the Amsterdam Sinfonietta this April, for a concert tour throughout Europe. They previously presented events in 2014 to wide acclaim, and are reprising that programme for these performances. Works featured include Brahms’ String Quintet Op. 111 and Vier ernste Gesänge; Barber’s “Dover Beach,” Wolf’s Italian Serenade, Fussreise, Auf einer wanderung, and Rattenfänger; and Schubert’s Memnon and Geheimes. Performances take place April 9 at Dresden’s Frauenkirche, April 12 at Rotterdam’s De Doelen, and on April 13 at the TivoliVredenburg in Utrecht.
